The principles of Ayurveda

Ayurveda is one of the great gifts of the sages of ancient India to mankind. Ayurveda is the way of life that teaches us how to promote health and longevity. Ayurveda treats man as a whole though at the same time viewing him as a combination of body, mind and soul. Ayurveda accepts the concept of a common origin of the universe and man. The five basic material elements exist in universe and in men.

These five elements referred to as: AIR, FIRE, WATER, EARTH, SPACE.

When these five elements are in balance, all activity and human health are in proper order and we are healthy. The physical constitution of individual are referred by Dosha of individual which is a function of energetic condition of the body:

The difference between acupuncture in Chinese medicine is that they are not related to meridians. Reflexology used to be known as reflex zone therapy. It is a holistic therapy that involves putting on pressure and massaging the reflex points that are found on the feet and hands. In addition, we are able to elevate many conditions. Reflexology can also be a preventive measure.

This is becoming more and more important as we realize the health-threatening danger of society we live in. Being of great form of relaxation, reflexology successfully manages to ward off illness and actually boost our immunity to these bugs that we seem to constantly catch and allowing our body to function in peak condition.

Acupressure is an ancient Chinese technique of acupuncture. Instead the use of needles as is used in acupuncture, Acupressure uses fingers pressure on specific points along the body. By doing this, we release any blocked or congested energy points along the meridian pathway. Acupressure activates and stimulates the body's own energies to help fight illness and restore harmony. Acupressure can reduce tension, stress, headaches, insomnia, menstrual pain, digestive disorders, depression and many more common ailments.
